Time – Sunday Afternoons @ 4:00 PM

Location – Amarillo Gun Club

Cost – $40 Per Shooter.  50 Targets each week.  Shooters will cover the cost of all targets

Rules

·  Sign Up & Safety Briefing on Sunday, September 28 at 3:30 PM at the AGC Clubhouse.  You can sign up in advance via email or phone call to Rick or Brandon.  We accept Venmo, Cash, or Check

·  Be on time.  Shooting will start @ 4:00 PM each week.  Shooters that arrive late impact the team squadded with them that week AND the league staff who must subsequently wait on late scorecards.  Please be courteous of your fellow shooters and arrive early enough to be ready to shoot at 4:00 PM sharp

·  Weekly shoot will consist of 50 targets per week for a total of 300 targets

·  We will shoot 7 Stations each week.  A shoot schedule will be provided in advance of Week 1

·  Shooters & Teams cannot score themselves; We will pair up teams each week prior to the shoot

·  Make Up Scores

o  Shooters will be allowed (3) Total Make Up Rounds

§  First Make Up Round – No Penalty (See Note Below Regarding Course Re-Set)

§  Second Make Up Round – 10% Penalty

§  Third Make Up Round – 20% Penalty

o  Make Up Rounds must be scored by another league member (Who is not on the same team as the shooter) OR an AGC staff member.  Please note, AGC staff members may not be available to score your round.  It is the responsibility of the shooter to arrange someone to score their makeup round

o  All make-up rounds will incur a 10% penalty if the targets/course has been re-set/changed by AGC staff.  This generally happens on Thursday(s) but is at the discretion of AGC.  This rule also applies to make up rounds shot in advance of the week in question

·  The league is open to individual shooters & two-man teams.  If you do not have a teammate, we will squad you with another single shooter

·  We will stop accepting individual shooters at 48 or teams at 24

·  Teams

o  Two Man Teams 

o  Teams will be handicapped following Week 3 Scores

o  Handicap will be determined for each “Team” as a combined score of both shooters

o  Handicap Formula

§  Scratch is 90 and the maximum score a team can receive with handicap is 90

§  Example – Round 1 Score is 82, Round 2 Score is 77, Round 3 Score is 84.  Average is 81

§  90 – 81 = 9 x .8% = 7.2 Handicap; 

§  Round 1 – 82+7.2=89.2; Round 2 – 77+7.2=84.2; Round 3 – 84+7.2=90

·  High Over All Shooter

o  No Handicap

o  Highest Number of broke clays will determine the winner

·  Ties

o  All ties, HOA and First Place Team, will be broken via shoot off following Week 6

·  All shooters will need to have an AGC Countdown Card in order to pay for their respective targets.  The AGC Countdown Card can be obtained at the AGC Clubhouse during normal business hours
